Jon’s 100 Marathon Journey…”It’s been an incredible journey over the last 22 months. I achieved more than i ever imagined with running.
Since May 2016 I have ran 90 marathons including doing a 11 marathons in a 11 days twice, 7 marathons in 7 days in the Southern caribbean and a number marathons around the world.
I’ve nearly knocked 2 hours off my first marathon time which was 4:57 down to 2:59. I never thought I’d break break sub 3 hours.
On top of that I have raised nearly £4500 for charity in the process.
I’m not elite status nor do I represent the RAF. Through determination and commitment I’ve made this challenge. I’ve use my own annual leave and self funded everything myself. I’ve received no additional time off and I have minimal financial support.
I hope people that see my story can be inspired that through hard work, making sacrifices and giving 100% you can achieve your goals.”
Truly an inspiring for all of us! Well done Jon!!
