The RAF Hang Gliding and Paragliding Association (RAFHPA) aims to safely develop all of its pilots, through the provision of paragliding equipment, mentoring and regular fixtures including overseas opportunities. Membership is open to all regular, reserve and retired members of the RAF who are British Hang Gliding and Paragliding Association Club Pilot rated or better. If you’d like to get involved with the RAFHPA but aren’t qualified, the good news is that you can learn to paraglide for free and while on duty through the Joint Service Adventurous Training Scheme; just visit the ATG app within the Defence Gateway to find out more and bid for course places.
