RAF Tenpin Bowling Association (RAFTBA)

The aim of the RAF Tenpin Bowling Association (RAFTBA) is to promote Tenpin Bowling throughout the Royal Air Force and encourage personal fitness and healthy living through sport.  We run several teams of varying abilities at all levels of competition, from Local Competition to International Events. We have successfully qualified for the European Corporate Championships every year since our first attempt and even gone so far as to place 2nd in 2018. The RAFTBA offers a wide range of activities to all personnel, from beginners at club level to those who have gained international honours in recent years.

Do you want to give Tenpin Bowling a go?

You can join your Station Tenpin Bowling team and take part in solo or team tournaments that the RAFTBA organises throughout the year.  Come along to our main event, the RAF Champs, which is run every November – you do not need to be part of a team as we can arrange this for you.  Many Stations take part in these tournaments and if you are unable to produce or locate a Station team, every effort will be made to ensure you don’t miss out.  Look out for details here, via Tenpin Bowling POCs or via Royal Air Force Tenpin Bowling on Facebook.
